July 11 gives us all a day to honor our pets. Today is All American Pet Photo Day. If you haven’t already, charge your camera and take some adorable pictures of your pets! Whether your pets have four legs and furry, two-legs and feathers, or no legs and scaly species, click away. Fishes and birds, pigs and equine, canine and feline should all get in line with their favorite pose. If your pets are friendly, take a few snapshots of them together! Today every pet gets included.
You can dress your pet up, take them to the park, set them in a chair, or place them on a fancy pillow. Whatever your imagination creates for a special photograph of your loved ones is great. Post your pictures on social media using #AllAmericanPetPhotoDay. I can’t wait to see your pets in action.
My first pet picture is my current dog Bugg. I adopted her at our local SPCA. The second pic is of my crabs years ago, Chris and Kelly come next, Tommie Lee a pet was from pre school classroom, Tracy who I took in after my neighbor passed, and Chewy the first of my cockatiels and parakeets. I also had African Frogs. These were all after I got married. I had a wonderful husband, he accepted and learned to love my pets as much as I did. I hope you have as many sweet adorable pets, as I have over the years.
I almost forgot Mitzi. She was my very first pet. I adopted her from the SPCA, when I was still living home. She lived with me and my husband until she was eighteen years old. I think that’s how old I was, when I adopted her. Most of my pets had their picture taken on that same blanket. I still have the blanket. Take a lot of pictures today and have fun with your pet.
